Terms of service
These terms govern the service provided by Antonia Heater, trading as recSEO (“recSEO”, “we”, “us”, “our”) to you, the client. By paying our first invoice you agree to these terms.

What we do
recSEO writes blog posts for recruitment agencies. Depending on the plan you choose, you receive an agreed number of posts each month, split between posts aimed at search visibility and posts aimed at credibility. When you start with us, you also receive a basic technical SEO report with a checklist of things to action on your website, and a plan of action for your first three months.
How you start
- You book a call with us to talk through your agency and what you want to achieve.
- If you decide to go ahead, we issue an invoice from toni@recseo.com.
- Once that invoice is paid, we begin work. We do not start on your project until payment is received.
Payment and commitment
- You choose a commitment length: 3, 6 or 12 months. The minimum is three months.
- Your invoice covers your whole committed period, paid upfront (a three-month commitment is invoiced as three months at once).
- The invoice is due within 5 days of being issued.
- We do not begin work until the invoice is paid.
- Prices are as set out for the plan and commitment length you choose on recseo.com at the time you sign up.
This is not a rolling subscription and nothing renews automatically. Towards the end of your paid period we will contact you to ask whether you would like to continue, and for how long (a minimum of three further months), and issue a new invoice. If you choose not to continue, the service simply ends when your paid period ends. There is nothing to cancel and no notice to give.
How we deliver
- Posts are delivered once a month, by email, as editable files.
- Each post comes with its SEO metadata: a title, a description, and a recommended URL slug.
- You will receive your first batch within 14 days of paying the invoice.
- You upload the posts to your website yourself, or pass them to whoever manages your site.
- The schedule for your posts is set out in your plan of action at the start.
Edits, and how we keep the price down
Every post is drafted by our content engine and then proofread and edited by an experienced copywriter before it reaches you. That is deliberately how the service is built, and it is a large part of why we can charge far less than a one-to-one ghostwriter.
Because of that, the service does not include revision rounds. We genuinely welcome your feedback and want to hear it, but rewriting and revising posts to order is not part of what you are buying. You review every post before you publish it, so nothing goes live without you reading it, and you decide what to upload and what to change yourself in the editable file.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about your agency, and tell us anything we must not write about (for example clients or sectors under an NDA).
- Read each post before you publish it. You are responsible for what you choose to publish on your website.
- You are responsible for your own website, hosting and the act of uploading the posts.
No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee any particular outcome. That includes search rankings or positions, traffic, enquiries, leads, or placements. Content and SEO results depend on many factors outside our control, including your website, your market, and how search engines work. We write good posts and give you a sound plan; we cannot promise a result, and we never will.
Who owns the posts
Once you have paid in full for a set of posts, those posts are yours to use as you wish. Until they are paid for, they remain ours. The methods, templates and systems we use to produce the work stay ours.
Confidentiality
We keep the information you share with us confidential and use it only to deliver your service. We respect any list of clients, sectors or topics you tell us not to write about.
Our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for anything arising out of the service is limited to the fees you have paid us for the work affected. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, business or reputation. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited.
Ending the service and refunds
Fees paid for your committed period are non-refundable once work on that period has begun, because the plan of action and the technical SEO report are produced up front.
Because the service is not a subscription, there is nothing to cancel. Your paid period runs to its end, and it only continues if you choose to renew it, as set out in “Payment and commitment” above.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we will change the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell current clients directly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
